Intermediate Club- Level 2


This six week cookery club builds on basic skills and techniques, in each of the sessions we will give you a good foundation of food knowledge helping intermediate cooks, understand moderate to difficult recipes, you will learn how to produce and present dishes of very good quality.

We recommend this club to cooks that have an understanding of the fundamentals of cookery and feel they have a good framework.

In the course we cover Fish, Meat and Vegetable preparation, you will also learn how to create desserts from start to finish, be shown how to improve your knife skill’s and taught how to best get ready for whatever dish your cooking, “MISE EN PLACE which is a French term that means, "having everything in place", by having sufficient Mise en place will allow you to cook with confidence and help you plan ahead allowing you time to create more complicated dishes.

The environment is relaxed making your learning experience more enjoyable, so call or email for more information.

The class runs biweekly starting at 6.30pm till 9.00pm (Please check dates) availability is very limited as many students roll on and complete 2 or 3 courses and then move up a level and so joining our waiting list is advisable because the start dates are every 12 weeks.

Over 30 recipes
Cook moderate dishes with chef guiding you

There is NO washing up as Flavours provides a KP (Kitchen porter) for each class

Exhibit Your Work
On the final 6th session this is where you are encouraged to invite a guest to a sit down dinner that you and your group will be preparing this will highlight and showoff the skills you have learnt during the past 5 sessions giving you a great sense of achievement to then be awarded with a Flavours Certificate.
