This six week Beginner cookery club, covers basic skills and techniques, in each of the sessions we teach a good foundation of food knowledge helping beginners understand recipe balance and teach our students how to produce dishes of quality with good flavours and presentation.
Learning basic skills, recipes and understanding them is fundamental because they provide the framework for any successful cook.
In the course we cover Fish, Meat and vegetable preparation you will also learn how to create desserts from start to finish you will be shown knife skill’s and taught how to get ready for whatever dish your cooking, “MISE EN PLACE which is a French term that means "having everything in place", by having sufficient Mise en place will allow you to cook with confidence.
The Beginners club is for someone that does little cooking and would like to build their confidence in the kitchen. This class is also good for people that want to get into cooking, someone who wants to understand recipes better, wants to know about cooking terminology and maybe when a recipe says “add a pinch”, how much is a pinch.
We also create a fun and relaxed environment to make the learning experience more enjoyable, so call or email for more information.
The classes run biweekly starting at 6.30pm till 9.00pm (Please check dates) availability is very limited as many students roll on and complete 2 or 3 course and then move up a level, joining our waiting list is advisable because the start dates are every 12 weeks.

Exhibit Your Work
On the final 6th session this is where you will be preparing a two course dinner showoff the skills you have learnt during the past 5 sessions giving you a great sense of achievement, then be awarded with a Flavours Certificate.
