This class is a chocolate lover's delight! Imagine being able to create your very own box of chocolates from scratch! Hand-made chocolates are fabulous to make and give as presents to yourself or others. 

This is a hands-on class where chef will guide you through the minefield of melting and tempering different types of chocolate.  You will learn how to take the cocoa to the highest temperature and then how to cool it to make the perfect chocolate treats. 

The class incorporates a journey through the history of cocoa and a taste test on a whole range from 100% cocoa right the way through the spectrum. 

Chocolate is made from the fruit of the cacao tree. Raw, unprocessed chocolate tastes bitter and dry, but chocolate that’s been fermented, dried, and roasted, and had a bit of sugar and cream added to it, tastes divine.  

People around the world enjoy the decadent flavour of chocolate on its own and in an enormous variety of foods. For many years, physicians warned against eating too much chocolate. However, in recent years, the discovery of antioxidant compounds in chocolate has changed this perception and stimulated research on its potential health benefits.  

So treat yourself or a lucky person in your life to one of the most indulgent experiences around.  

What to expect: 

All our classes take a hands-on approach to cooking, and you’ll be learning recipes from scratch. Our friendly chef will teach you all the tricks of the trade, starting with a fun and informative demonstration. After that, it’s over to you! You’ll be able to taste your food throughout the cooking process and season your plate to your liking. Throughout the evening chef will invite you to sample their food.
