Stylish Eating

French Cuisine

French cuisine is a style of food preparation originating from France that has developed from centuries of social change. For more than two centuries the French have enjoyed good cooking, but rest assured, dishes have never been as delicate, as expertly prepared, or better tasting, than they are today.

French cuisine was transformed in the 20th century by Escoffier to become the modern version of Haute cuisine.

Knowledge of French cooking has contributed significantly to Western cuisines and its criteria are used widely in Western cookery schools and culinary education.

This class demonstrates this knowledge and allows you to create traditional dishes within our hands-on class to give you a good starting block for your culinary repertoire.
